ProfileWelcome to Chulalongkorn Business School

The school was founded in 1938 with the mission to provide business education and produce graduates who would become executives in any sectors in the country.  During the past 75 years, CBS has achieved in producing graduates who have succeeded in their careers as entrepreneurs, or executives in public or private organizations.

Nowadays, one of the important aspects in business education in both undergraduate and graduate levels is internationalization.  Therefore, the School needs to be accredited from international institutions in order to be recognized worldwide.  The process for accreditation has been started since the previous dean, Associate Professor Dr. Annop Tanlamai.  The school has submitted the accreditation applications to The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD).  These two organizations have accredited many well-known universities and institutions around the world.  At the moment, CBS is in the final phrase of the accreditation.  The school will get accredited from both organizations within 1 year.

In the previous year, our students won many awards at both local and international levels.  Besides equipping them with skills and knowledge, we also need our students to have ethic and good morals.  Therefore, CBS provides students with various extracurricular activities as per the university’s guideline.  The school assigns all students to do 10-hour volunteering activities concerning CSR programs every year.  The programs are cooperated by business sectors for students to gain real experiences and learn from real situations.  The curriculums also include ethic and moral concept.

After 75 years of success, CBS is still moving forward and welcoming all challenges from modern business world by using innovation as a key success factor in developing our curriculum, teaching and learning, and faculty members and staffs development.  We are doing our best to fulfill our vision to become the Pillar of Kingdom In Business Education allying with the University’s vision to become the Pillar of Kingdom.
